Wireless Internet for South Skye

Getting Connected

Getting Connected is easy…

Step 1: Are you covered?

Our designated townships for Skyenet are: Aird, Achnacloich, Tokavaig, Tarskavaig, Ord, Heaste and Drumfearn. If you are a householder within any of these areas please note that it is only a possibility that you may be covered by the network and are eligible for a connection.

Step 2: Contact
To find out if you are eligible for a connection and to register an interest with the service please do get in touch.

By phone: 01471 844773 or by e-mail: office@sleat.org.uk.

From this point, we can confirm if you are covered and can direct and guide you through our easy sign up process.

Step 3: Payment

Once you have decided to become a Skyenet customer we can start processing your order. Payment for the service will be taken via Standing Order and will cost either £19.80 or £30.00, depending on the chosen package, per month. We can accept either payments online, or through your local branch.

Step 4: Installation
Once you are fully signed up we will arrange a suitable date for our partners Macpherson Electrical to install the broaband receiver at your premises and connect you to the network. The installation cost is £200 and included in this price is a free wifi router.

Step 4: Enjoy
Once we have received payment and you are wired in to the network that’s it. Kick back and enjoy Skyenet broadband from Sleat Community Trust.
